Sr. Controls Engineer

SR. CONTROLS ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Write technical specification and requirements for manufacturing test equipment

Create/develop process documentation for assigned equipment (PFMEA, PFD, PCP, Std. Cell, test specifications, etc.)

Develop programs for testing of product using Labview, Visual Basic, etc.

Machine qualification and vendor site and Mfg location

Design and specify product testing equipment; this could include but not limited to: electrical testing of components (hi-pot, resistance, capacitance, etc), leak testing (pressure decay, vacuum, flow), performance testing (measured output signal, voltage switching, torque, part height, etc)

Present technical material to peers and high level management

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient at machine control logic, preferred Allen Bradley experience

Understanding of electrical standards and requirements for wiring manufacturing equipment

Good interpersonal skills, work in both a team or individual environment

Strong trouble shooting skills

Knowledge of error proofing strategies and SPC

Proficient in AutoCAD

Experience in machine qualification

Knowledge of Delphi electrical standards and requirements

EDUCATION:

At a minimal BS degree or 10 yrs of experience in a similar job.
